Press Release - "Seeking
public assistance with a burglary"
On Monday, August 30, 2010 at approximately 10:00AM, a homeowner
on Highway 24 (Newington Highway) near Blue Springs returned home to find
a burglar inside his home - the suspect, described as a white male with
a medium build and a goatee, fled the residence when confronted and drove
away in a silver or gray Dodge Nitro (see photograph of a similar vehicle
below). Anyone with any information regarding persons in possession
of a similiar vehicle and who also fit the physical description of the
suspect are asked to contact Screven County Sheriff's Office at 912-564-2013.
